Delete your Stepli account

Permanent, and available without reinstalling the app.

In the app

Open Stepli, go to You, then Delete account, and confirm. This cannot be undone. Your data is removed within 30 days.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the subject line Delete my account. We will confirm it is you, then delete the account and its data within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your account, your email address, your name if you set one, your settings, and all synced steps and tasks.

If you had turned analytics on, the usage events tied to your account are deleted too. We ask PostHog, our analytics provider, to remove them when your account is deleted, and it does so in a weekly batch, so it can take up to about a week. Events that carry only a random device id, because you never signed in, cannot be tied to you, so they expire on their own within a year.

If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel first through the App Store (Settings, your name, Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store, profile icon, Payments and subscriptions). We cannot cancel it for you.
